This medium-sized shallow yarn bowl was handmade by me from locally sourced Sycamore. The simple form, light in colour with bark inclusion and grain pattern together with the annular rings make this a nice piece. The simple slot allows the yarn to be drawn from the centre of the ball without the irritation of tangles whilst keeping the material clean and immobile.
The bowl which is 80 mm in height and 220mm in diameter has been given a tective and durable semi-gloss cellulose finish and would make an ideal gift for the enthusiastic knitter for any occasion or just to say thank you. It might even be nice to treat yourself.
As with all the items on my shop, it is unique in that, being handmade, everyone is different, there are however similar items elsewhere in my shop.
The wool and figures are for size indication only and are not included.
